Delivery Process

  • Logistics Planning: The delivery method is planned based on the container’s destination and the site’s accessibility. Factors like road width, overhead obstructions, and the turning radius are considered.
  • Transportation: Containers are delivered using specialized vehicles, such as tilt-bed trucks, which can slide the container off the bed onto the ground, or standard flatbed trucks, which may require external equipment like cranes or forklifts at the delivery site for offloading.
  • Site Preparation: Buyers must ensure the delivery site is prepared with a suitable, level foundation and adequate space for the container and the delivery vehicle to maneuver.
  • Costs Involved: The delivery cost is typically based on the distance from the container depot or yard to the delivery site, with longer distances resulting in higher fees. Additional charges may apply for expedited delivery, challenging delivery locations, or if specialized equipment is needed for offloading.
